M HKA gaat digitaal

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

Lygia Clark

1920 - 1988

Died in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), born in Belo Horizonte (Brazil).

“We make a proposal: let us bury the artwork as such and we ask you to make thought live through action” - Lygia Clark

The groundbreaking work of Lygia Clark explored the tactile, performative register of conceptual art. “Relational” long before this quality was canonized as an “aesthetic,” Clark’s practice leaned heavily on collaboration and cooperation.
