Marina Abramović

Born in Belgrade (RS), lives in New York (US).

Since the beginning of her career in Yugoslavia in the 1970s Marina Abramović has pioneered the use of performance as a visual art form. The M HKA is a museum for contemporary art, film and visual culture in its widest sense. It is an open place of encounter for art, artists and the public.
