M HKA gaat digitaal

Met M HKA Ensembles zetten we onze eerste échte stappen in het digitale landschap. Ons doel is met behulp van nieuwe media de kunstwerken nog beter te kaderen dan we tot nu toe hebben kunnen doen.

We geven momenteel prioriteit aan smartphones en tablets, m.a.w. de in-museum-ervaring. Maar we zijn evenzeer hard aan het werk aan een veelzijdige desktop-versie. Tot het zover is vind je hier deze tussenversie.

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

Exhibition: Hugo Roelandt - Post(ume) Getuigenis

Netwerk, Aalst

23 April 2016 - 18 June 2016

In association with New Reform Archive, Netwerk, pays homage to performance artist Hugo Roelandt (°1950 Aalst), who died on July 21, 2015. The exhibition focuses on the artist activities that he realised during the 70’s and 80’s in his hometown of Aalst.

Besides documents, films and slide shows, personal testimonials by people who worked with him will be displayed.

During the opening event on Saturday 23/04 2016 at 20:00 there will be a re-enactment of Creatie van een Stuk, 1978. Performance artist, Maria Degrève and musicians Kwinten Callens, Piet Van De Velde and Nicholas Van Droogenbroeck will present the re-enactment.

In connection with this exhibition Netwerk provides a limited edition mimeographed publication, with among others, an interview with Hugo by Roger D'Hondt that appeared in the weekly magazine, De Voorpost, 1977.
