M HKA gaat digitaal

Met M HKA Ensembles zetten we onze eerste échte stappen in het digitale landschap. Ons doel is met behulp van nieuwe media de kunstwerken nog beter te kaderen dan we tot nu toe hebben kunnen doen.

We geven momenteel prioriteit aan smartphones en tablets, m.a.w. de in-museum-ervaring. Maar we zijn evenzeer hard aan het werk aan een veelzijdige desktop-versie. Tot het zover is vind je hier deze tussenversie.

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

Exposition: Panamarenko Universum

Panamarenko Universum était le grand retour unique de Panamarenko (°1940, Anvers) à sa ville de naissance Anvers. La Panamarenko Universum rétrospective a examiné quelles œuvres pouvaient former l’épine dorsale de l’œuvre de Panamarenko, et dans quelle configuration. Pour la première fois, une structure thématique et chronologique a été apportée à la multitude d’engins et de machines que Panamarenko a produits entre 1965 et 2005.

Celui qui contemple aujourd’hui l’œuvre de Panamarenko constatera que chaque engin ou machine est une planète autonome, autour de laquelle gravitent de petits satellites. Ce sont les études, les modèles théoriques, les premières esquisses, les expériences, les prototypes etc. Ces satellites sont liés l’un à l’autre et nous aident à visualiser le plus précisément possible la genèse de la planète mère finale – l’œuvre d’art.

Vu l’ampleur et la profondeur de l’œuvre de Panamarenko, il était presque impossible de cartographier l’univers entier, avec toutes les planètes et tous les satellites, dans une seule exposition. Certaines planètes de son œuvre présentent pourtant clairement des analogies. Par conséquent, nous avons pu discerner des lignes et des zones imaginaires qui, à leur tour, formaient des constellations ou des clusters reconnaissables. Dans une tentative de présenter un aperçu clair de l’œuvre, il a été essayé de regrouper ces clusters chronologiquement.

En gros, il s’agissait d’abord des happenings et des collages, ensuite des objets poétiques ou immobiles, après les instruments ailés, les appareils motorisés, les instruments spatiaux, les instruments aquatiques et finalement les robots mécaniques.
