EXTRA MUROS: Visite Bornem – Gedeelde Ruimte
03 May 2014 - 25 May 2014
CC Ter Dilft, Bornem
Under the umbrella term Visite, the M HKA – in collaboration with LOCUS, the hub for libraries, cultural and community centres and local cultural policy - regularly organised exhibitions outside the museum. From 03.05.2015 to 25.05.2014, a number of key works of the M HKA collection were moved to Bornem.
Is the region known, familiar and woven into your daily life? We confronted them with exactly the opposite. A selection of works from the permanent collection of the M HKA guided you through Bornem. The works were displayed at various locations in Hingene and Buitenland.
We infiltrate to share the space surrounding us: physically and mentally. Sharing space is entering the space while being fully alert, daring to deviate from (historical) functions and expectations. It is learning to look differently in order to experience more intensely. Nothing offers more opportunities than art to induce this experience.
