M HKA gaat digitaal

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

“Panoramic photos are beyond comprehension. They are the flat rendering of the image surrounding them. The things on the left in the picture correspond to what is shown on the right. It’s an acquired taste. The image triggers an alienation effect in the viewer. On the one hand, he recognizes all image elements, but the work as a whole comes across as odd. The circular elements are flat and the straight lines of the architecture are crooked.” - Johan De Vos
