M HKA gaat digitaal

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

'I've indeed sat upon it, there are even photos to prove it, but really take a promenade... I don't think I'd dare... ' - Panamarenko

Panamarenko designed this insect-like machine on high aluminium legs, to enable him to walk around the Swiss mountains more easily. Crooked Leg is powered by a boat engine and is operated using two vertical levers on either side of the device. Panamarenko tested it out in December 1994 in a Flemish meadow.
